The LEAPING Salmon Bar

Where it all began

The bar is located in the suburb of Blackrock Village. It is under the current ownership for nearly 12 years and enjoys a largely local trade.

A GAA house, with a long tradition of support from the local GAA community and most notably St Michaels G.F.C.

St Michael's G.F.C. was founded in this pub in 1951 and as sponsors of this club we wish them every success in the future years. We would like to thank the club for it continued support over the years that we have taken ownership of this historic pub.

The pub was revamped and extended in 2000 to upgrade facilities in line with modern requirements. An all day snack menu is now available with plans to extended to all food requirements The pub is also very popular for visiting fans of other counties were people meet and relax and to discuss their clash with the Cork footballers or hurlers.
