U12 City Championship Final

St. Michael's 5-11 Na Piarsaigh 1-01

In dazzling style, the U12 team claimed the City Championship with a facile replay victory over Na Piarsaigh on Saturday last.

Despite conceding a goal in the opening minutes, the St. Michael's forwards were simply brilliant and, led by Keith Hegarty, gave the Na Piarsaigh backs a torrid time.

However, it wasn't just down to the forwards. Strong play from goalie Jim Keating, David Redmond and Luke Carroll provided a platform for victory in what was a one-sided final. The introduction of David King in the second half only served to add to the misery of the Northside outfit.

The team now march on to the County section where they will face Beara in the quarter final.
